Waar worden mijn gegevens opgeslagen?

Vraag het liever je AI-agent

Eerst op je apparaat, en dat is de kopie waar je mee werkt: de app is local-first, dus je kunt je notities ook offline openen en bewerken. De gesynchroniseerde kopie staat op servers in Zürich, Zwitserland. Daar staan je publieke sleutel, versleutelde blobs van je notities, bestanden en instellingen, plus de tijdstempels en groottes die voor synchronisatie nodig zijn. Geen titels, geen tekst, geen tags.

Het land telt minder dan de versleuteling. Alles is altijd versleuteld, op je apparaat en onderweg naar de server, dus die kopie zou onleesbaar zijn waar hij ook stond: Zwitserland is een bonus, niet de belofte. Wat er synchroniseert somt het punt voor punt op.

De kopie op je apparaat is ook versleuteld. Notities worden op schijf verzegeld met een sleutel die bij het ontgrendelen uit je herstelzin wordt afgeleid, dus een kopie van de opslag van de app op je apparaat, of een gestolen back-up daarvan, bevat versleutelde data, niet je notities.
