Com pot un pagament únic finançar un servei de sincronització per sempre?

Perquè el servei és deliberadament barat de mantenir. L'aplicació és local primer i les notes són petits blobs xifrats, així que el servidor no fa gaire més que desar-los i passar-los entre els teus dispositius. Cap sistema d'analítiques, cap funció d'IA cremant capacitat de càlcul, cap departament de suport.

L'únic cost que sí que creix amb el temps és l'emmagatzematge, i per això té el preu que té: l'emmagatzematge més enllà dels 500 MB inclosos és un petit complement anual. Els costos únics es paguen un cop; els costos recurrents es repeteixen. El model només s'ha de sostenir a si mateix, i ho fa.
