Puc comprar Pro sense revelar qui soc?

Sí, amb dues eines estàndard. Per al rebut, fes servir un àlies de correu: Apple Hide My Email, DuckDuckGo Email Protection, SimpleLogin, Firefox Relay o addy.io reenvien tots a la teva bústia real sense exposar-la. Per al pagament, fes servir una targeta emmascarada: privacy.com als EUA genera targetes virtuals que funcionen amb qualsevol nom que hi escriguis, i molts bancs i serveis d'altres llocs (Revolut, per exemple) ofereixen targetes virtuals d'un sol ús que fan la mateixa feina.

En pagar, Paddle demana una adreça electrònica, un mètode de pagament i un país (més un codi postal en algunes regions) per calcular els impostos. L'àlies rep el rebut, la targeta emmascarada porta el nom que li hagis posat, i la ubicació fiscal només t'acota a una regió, res més. Això sí, mantén l'àlies viu: el correu del rebut és la teva prova de compra i el teu canal per a un reemborsament.

Combinat amb un compte amb frase, cap part no acaba tenint la imatge completa: el teu banc veu una recàrrega de targeta, Paddle veu un àlies i una targeta emmascarada, i nosaltres només veiem que una clau pública ha passat a ser Pro.
