PrivacyNotes è gestita da un'azienda statunitense. Questo mette a rischio le mie note?
Chiedi piuttosto al tuo agente IALe tue note sono cifrate sul tuo dispositivo e, con la custodia personale, il server non conserva nulla che serva ad aprirle. Quello che scrivi lo raggiunge solo come testo cifrato, quindi un ordine giudiziario in qualsiasi paese ottiene soltanto testo cifrato, ovunque l'azienda sia registrata. Puoi verificarlo: il codice è open source su GitHub e la scheda di rete del tuo browser mostra che le tue parole partono solo come testo cifrato.
Lifetime Labs LLC è un'azienda statunitense perché era il modo più rapido per riunire i nostri progetti sotto un unico nome. Nessuno del team vive negli Stati Uniti e le tue note sincronizzate sono archiviate a Zurigo, in Svizzera.
Quello che la legge può raggiungere sono i dati di cui il servizio ha bisogno: la tua chiave pubblica, i timestamp di sincronizzazione, la dimensione dell'archiviazione, log del server di breve durata e, se colleghi Google, Apple o GitHub, quell'email. Con "Mantieni tutto semplice e comodo", sul nostro server è salvata anche la tua frase di recupero, e questa apre le tue note. Impostazioni > Account > Custodia delle chiavi ti fa passare alla custodia personale. Cosa può vedere PrivacyNotes ne elenca altri.
