# Can I share text or a link into PrivacyNotes from another app?

Yes, on iPhone, iPad and Android, as a beta. Tap the share button in any app and pick PrivacyNotes. A web link becomes a bookmark with the page title, text becomes a new note, and pictures and files go to Files. A link you already saved is shown instead of saved twice. Shared items arrive without a folder or a tag, so you sort them when it suits you.

On Android the app asks first: it lists what arrived and saves it only when you choose **Save all**, or drops it with **Discard**. On iPhone and iPad a card confirms **Saved to PrivacyNotes**. Each file follows your [upload limit](https://privacynotes.app/help/attachment-limits/), and a share waits until you are signed in and the app is unlocked.
