# Can I save a web page as a note? Yes. [Open a bookmark](https://privacynotes.app/help/bookmarks/) and choose Save as note, or pick Clip page in the + menu and paste a link. The main text of the page becomes an ordinary note in Notes, linked to its bookmark, and up to 20 of its pictures are stored with the note, encrypted like any picture you add yourself, unless you switch off Save pictures in the Clip page window. Saving pages is free on every tier, and [the pictures count toward your storage](https://privacynotes.app/help/storage-usage/). The desktop and phone apps download the page and its pictures directly from your device. The web app downloads them through our server, which passes them on and keeps neither the page, the pictures nor their addresses. Pages behind a login and pages built by scripts can come back empty: keep those as a bookmark. With the [browser extension](https://privacynotes.app/help/browser-extension/), you can also save the page you are reading, including pages behind a login. --- Source: https://privacynotes.app/help/save-page-as-note
