# Which dates and times can I type in Ninja? Ninja reads dates the way you would say them to a person. Type a date alone, such as `tomorrow` or `oct 31`, and the first row opens the calendar on that day. After `+`, the same words set the day of a new item: - Days: `tonight`, `this saturday`, `day after tomorrow`, `in 3 days`, `oct 31`, `2026-12-24` - Times and lengths: `noon`, `3pm`, `9-5`, `3pm for 30m`, `for 3 days` - Ranges: `fri to sun`, `oct 20-25` - Repeats: `every weekday`, `every other friday`, `last friday of every month`, `every friday until dec 20`, `every monday 10 times` - Alerts: `1h before`, `alert 1d and 1h` A date in digits follows **Date format** in Settings > Date & Time, so `12/24` reads month first or day first as you set it. A year stays a year: `oct 31 2027` is never 8:27 PM. The date words follow the app language, and the word `add` works like `+` in English and in yours.
