# I asked for a feature or reported a bug. How long until it ships?

Often days. Small requests and bug reports usually land in the next release, and releases go out most weeks rather than a few times a year. The [changelog](https://privacynotes.app/changelog) is the record: every entry is dated, written in plain language, and says what changed. Read a month of it and you will know exactly what to expect from us before you commit anything to the app.

Part of how we keep that pace is AI assistance on the interface work, and we would rather say so plainly than have you wonder. It means a request from one person is worth building, where a small team would normally have to say no to everything except the top of the list. It does not mean nobody is looking: every change is reviewed by a person, checked by the automated test suite, and shipped under our name. The encryption layer and the sync protocol are the exception and always will be. They move slowly, they are reviewed line by line, they are tested against published reference vectors, and they are [public](https://github.com/LifetimeLabsDev/PrivacyNotes.app) so you can read them instead of trusting us.

The app itself has no AI features and never sends your notes anywhere ([details](https://privacynotes.app/help/no-ai/)). That is a separate promise, and it does not change.
