# How do I make text that copies with one click? Add a copy box: choose **Copy box** in the + menu of the toolbar, then type or paste the text inside it, such as a command, an address or a code. The button in its corner puts the whole text on your clipboard and shows **Copied** for a moment. A code block and a copy box turn into each other, so you can switch an existing block too. Inline code copies as well. In a read-only note, a click or a tap on inline code copies it. While you edit, Cmd-click on a Mac or Ctrl-click on Windows and Linux copies it, so a plain click still places the cursor. A copy box saves as a code block with the language `copy`, which other Markdown apps show as a normal code block. Both are free. --- Source: https://privacynotes.app/help/copy-box
