# Can I connect more than one login to my account?

Yes. Open Settings > Account > Accounts and connect Google, Apple or GitHub to add a login that opens the same vault. You can connect several, even two accounts from one provider, and your recovery phrase keeps working alongside them. Connecting or disconnecting an account leaves your notes and your encryption unchanged.

A login that already belongs to another vault cannot be connected, because vaults are never merged. **Disconnect** asks for your 12 words first. If we keep your phrase for you, the last connected account stays until you connect another one or save your phrase and switch to self-custody. With self-custody, a new device still asks for your 12 words. Connected accounts are in beta.
