# How do I change a dose without losing the history?

Open the medication in Settings > Trackers > Medication, change the strength, the times, the amounts or the schedule, and tap **Save**. A schedule change applies from today, so past days keep the doses and times they had, and what you logged on them stays as it was.

Each strength change goes on the medication's page in Settings > Statistics > Trackers: the day-by-day grid marks it for everyone, and with Pro the **Dosage timeline** lists every change with its date and **Around each dose change** [compares your mood before and after it](https://privacynotes.app/help/dose-lens/).
