# Can I use PrivacyNotes at work, and is there a team plan?

You can use it at work, and plenty of people do. What does not exist is a team plan: no shared workspace, no admin console, no central billing, and no way for a company to read or recover an employee's notes. Each person buys their own Pro and holds their own phrase.

That last part is the one to weigh before you standardize on it. Zero-knowledge encryption means an employer cannot restore what a leaver walked away with, and that is the same property that makes the app right for a journalist and wrong for a compliance department. If your organization needs key escrow or audit logs, we are honestly not the tool for it.
